What is SCREAM NOTE?
SCREAM NOTE is a 2–8+ player online co-op comedy horror game on Steam for Windows PC. You loot cursed notebook pages in a haunted neighborhood house, write a friend’s username, pick a jumpscare type, and let a monster chase them until the scare lands. Three strikes eliminate a player in competitive rounds; groups can also try to escape together before betrayal wins.
REAL PLAYERS markets 222+ unique jumpscares, proximity voice chat, optional PC-reach scares that break the fourth wall, and Streamer Mode for Twitch audience interaction. It is not a Roblox free-to-play title — purchase happens through Steam App ID 4791980.

Gameplay and win conditions
How do you win? Either be the last player without three strikes (elimination) or reach the exit with your group (cooperative escape). Both paths coexist — groups often agree on one mode then someone breaks trust on a bridge.
How does the Scream Note work? Pick up cursed pages, open the notebook UI, select a victim and scare category, optionally set a delay timer, then stay anonymous if you can. Multiplayer and voice chat
How many players? Steam lists 2–8+ online. Host private lobbies through Steam invites for friend groups; see player count and lobby.
Is voice chat required? Not technically, but proximity voice is core design — accusations, fake alibis, and comedy depend on audio. Text-only groups lose half the experience.
Cross-play? Windows PC only at launch. Console and macOS friends cannot join until future ports if any.
